Soul's Cry
is a prophetic ministry that is preparing the church for the
coming revival and building the body of believers as a resting
place for the Lord.
Andre Ashby has a deep desire to see the
Body of Christ passionately in love with Jesus and moving in the power
of Holy Spirit. His heart is to nurture and release the people
of
God through Holy Spirit led prayer and prophetic songs
of the Lord, as well as heart searching seminars and Holy Spirit
directed personal ministry to those in attendance.
Andre has traveled extensively
across the United States and internationally, drawing the body of Christ
into complete devotion to Jesus -
our Magnificent Obsession.
In Andre's
meetings people are drawn closer to the Lord and are released to move
in their gifting. They are encouraged to take the gospel to the street
and workplace with signs and wonders following them to confirm the Word
of the Lord.
It has been said of his unique
and powerful ministry that, "Andre
carries the presence of God".

A Message From Andre
I
am here in Korea and was shocked to hear about the passing of Michael
Jackson and Farrah Fawcett within hours of each other. The shock of
these two industry icon deaths have reverberated around the globe and
can be felt here in Korea. I am very surprised though, by how their
deaths have affected me. Maybe because I grew up with both of them - it
is almost like the end of an era.
My heart Goes out to their
families and pray that the God of all comfort would visit them and show
them His loving kindness. When something happens like this, in trying
to make since out of tragedy, I always ask the Lord what is going on in
the spirit realm and what is the eternal perspective. God, I am convinced, is speaking volumes to us, but are we ready to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church?
I
believe that God is about to move in the entertainment industry and are
we the Church ready to receive what God is about to do? So often we
stand as the judges of those who are entertainers, pointing the finger
at their lifestyles calling them sinners and relegating them to hell.
We have not really loved them the way God commands us to. I can hear
some christians say, "...but brother we can't excuse sin, or support
fallen lifestyles...", and I am not saying that at all, but we the
Church have got to be Jesus to the world.
The Lord told me that the Jesus who would win the sinner is the Jesus who weeps over them.
He told me that He was tired of me misrepresenting Him as the God who
wants to destroy the lost. We have got to truly start believing John
3:16 not just quoting it, but allowing it to shape our world view.
Often
when people of high status come to the Lord we want to use them instead
of loving them to life. We require them to stop being who God created
them to be and force them to fit our idea of what we think a Christian
should look and act like. Most of the people, like Michael Jackson, God
created them to be outside of what we call normal. They don't fit our
world view. We say either look like us and act like us or you can't be
apart of us. We refuse to accept Godly diversity and reject the gift of
God in them, because we don't understand who He created them to be.
If
God is about to move in the entertainment industry, and as I said
before I believe He is, we've got to change the way we think. We've got
to see God as bigger than the four walls of the church and go where no
one would dare to go before.
The Lord is asking us to see the bigger picture seeing things from His perspective.
I
believe that God loves the entertainment industry. Jesus gave His
life for them and He is asking for us to simply agree with Him.
My prayer is that we would simply love the way Jesus does and be His voice of comfort to a dying world.
Always pursuing Him
Andre
